Diana Krall 5 stars, the audience 1 star

Diana Krall's peformance was sublime, other-worldly . . . Ah, but the ubiquitous cell phone addicts snapping photos and recording snippets really ruined the experience for me. Worst of all was the 65ish-year-old teenage groupie right next to me who couldn't stop taking pics and flashing the screen in my eyes as she reviewed them. I advised her that I would consult the usher on the matter, and this gave me a 45-minute reprieve before she needed her next cell phone hit. Alas, I have concluded that this is to be my last nonclassical music concert. I simply could not immerse myself in the experience with all the cell phones flashing.
